On March 7, 2026, VCDC, in partnership with TVAP, spent the day at Hospicio de San Jose for a special outreach that brought together both children and elderly residents in a shared space of care and connection.
Rather than a program centered on activities alone, the day unfolded through simple, meaningful interactions—conversations, shared laughter, and quiet moments of companionship. Our team engaged with the children through lighthearted games and creative play, while also taking time to sit with the elderly, listen to their stories, and offer presence and warmth.
There was something uniquely moving about experiencing both ends of the spectrum—youthful energy alongside quiet wisdom. It served as a reminder that while circumstances may differ, the need for connection, attention, and kindness remains the same.
For VCDC, outreach is not just an initiative, but an ongoing responsibility. It reflects our belief that creating impact goes beyond the spaces we design, extending into the lives and communities we touch.
We remain grateful for opportunities like this, and we look forward to continuing efforts that allow us to give back in ways that are both meaningful and lasting.
