As one of the Philippines’ leading infrastructure conglomerates, DMCI Holdings sought a bold new look for its headquarters in 2013 — one that would reflect its progressive vision. VCDC was commissioned to carry out the façade renovation, reimagining the structure with an industrial-themed yet elegant design. Powder-coated corrugated metal sheets, typically reserved for roll-up shutters, were reinterpreted in the company’s signature colors of silver and blue. Arranged in varying directions and geometric patterns of squares and rectangles, the panels form a sequence of horizontal and vertical lines that shift with the changing daylight. The result is a façade that feels dynamic and alive, turning a simple, utilitarian material into an eye-catching architectural feature. This project demonstrates how VCDC’s innovative approach to design and construction can elevate even the most ordinary materials into a modern identity statement — perfectly aligned with DMCI Holdings’ reputation for innovation and strength in the construction industry.
